Punggol PSLE Examinations English class has all the students doing composition to brush up their creative writing skills

PSLE examinations English class has composition writing and our PSLE students are preparing for the paper by coming up with different thematic variations. Tutors discuss different ways of presenting their creative writing skills and helping the PSLE students in vocabulary, making sure their stories are brought to life and have a vibrant gamut of emotions.

PSLE students enjoys their work better when they team up and discuss how they can be original, making the stories unique and individual.

Our PSLE English class is conducted since November last year, so the PSLE students are well prepared with the new PSLE English Language syllabus. The 3-picture composition writing section requires individuality, and this originality will promote creativity in our society. It is working, as we do see our students opening up to discussing with their peers, and also to think out of the box.

For our holistic programme for the December holidays, Punggol tutor Ms Yuet Ling brought students to go indoor rock climbing for the Upper Primary Science students. They learnt Forces and Biology during their Science tuition with Ms Yuet Ling, and put all they have learnt during this outing. They learnt friction, propulsion, gravity and free fall, how their body requires oxygen, heart beat and fatigue of muscles during their 6 hour session. Of course, they also learnt how to follow important instructions, manage safety and equipment, team work and also a never give up attitude that is so important in their studies.
